Caption: It's been two years since our @eddiebauer adventure to Jumbo Pass, but the amazing memories remain. It wasn't an easy place to reach; it's a 30 km snowmobile rode and 8 km ski tour to this remote piece of backcountry paradise. Our group of six wish more people would get out and explore this wild place.

Sadly, Jumbo has been at the heart of controversy for years. The Ktunaxa Nation just lost their court battle to protect this area. The loss reopens the potential for a ski resort development that has been fiercely opposed by both the Ktunaxa Nation and locals since its inception. I'm posting a URL in my profile so you can read more about what this court decision means and what it doesn't. My fingers are crossed that Jumbo remains undeveloped.
